Fees, logistics, identification, apostilles, and what a notary can — and cannot — do.

Pricing & Fees

How much does a New York notary cost?

There are two parts. New York State sets the fee for notarial acts: $2 per applicable traditional notarial act and $25 per electronic notarial act. Separately, mobile, travel, convenience, rush, and specialty services are professional service charges. Our mobile appointments start at $150, plus applicable statutory fees.

What is the New York notarial fee?

New York regulates the fee for certain traditional notarial acts at $2 per act, and the fee for an electronic notarial act at $25. We always itemize these statutory fees separately and never combine them with our service fees.

How much does a mobile notary cost in NYC?

Our Standard Mobile Notary service starts at $150 and includes travel within the standard NYC service area and up to 45 minutes on site. Executive appointments start at $225, same-day priority at $275, urgent dispatch at $350, and evening or weekend service at $225. Statutory notarial fees are additional. Use our price calculator for an estimate; your final price is confirmed before service.

Locations

Can you come to my home?

Yes. We provide mobile appointments at residences throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. Availability and travel pricing vary by location.

Can you come to my office?

Yes. We regularly serve private offices, law offices, and corporate offices, including multi-signer and recurring appointments. Corporate clients can open an account for scheduling and billing.

Can you notarize at a hotel?

Yes. We can meet in a hotel lobby, suite, or business center. Please share any front-desk or access instructions when booking.

Can you notarize at a hospital?

Yes, for qualifying clients at hospitals, nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and assisted living facilities. Hospital and facility service starts at $200. The signer must be able to present acceptable identification and must be aware of and willing to sign the document. Facility access and client availability can affect appointment duration and final pricing.

Documents & Identification

What identification do I need?

Each signer should have a current, valid, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. The name on the ID should match the name on the document. If you have questions about your identification, contact us before your appointment.

Can you notarize a Power of Attorney?

We can notarize signatures on a Power of Attorney when the document calls for notarization. Some New York power of attorney forms also require witnesses; let us know in advance if witnesses may be needed. We do not prepare, select, or advise on the content of a Power of Attorney — please consult an attorney for that.

Can you notarize real estate documents?

Yes. Real estate and loan signing services start at $175 for qualifying documents, including deeds, affidavits, and buyer and seller documents. Complex or unusually large packages receive a custom quote.

Can you notarize estate documents?

We can notarize signatures on estate-related documents that call for notarization, such as affidavits. We do not prepare estate documents or supervise the execution of wills, and we cannot advise on whether a document meets legal requirements. Your attorney should guide estate-planning matters.

Can you notarize loan documents?

Yes. We support loan packages, refinance documents, HELOC packages, and other mortgage-related signing assignments. Statutory notarial fees are separate from the signing service fee.

Do you offer electronic notarization?

Electronic notarization is available for qualifying documents and transactions, subject to applicable New York requirements. The New York electronic notarial fee is $25 per electronic notarial act.

Can you print my documents?

Yes. Document printing starts at $25. Send your documents in advance so they are ready at your appointment.

Can you scan my completed documents?

Yes. Scanning and scanback of completed documents starts at $25, and is included on request with Executive appointments.

Do you provide witnesses?

Witnesses may be arranged on request, subject to availability, and are quoted separately. Please tell us when booking if your document requires witnesses so we can plan accordingly.

Apostille

What is an apostille?

An apostille is a certificate that authenticates the origin of a public document so it can be recognized in another country that participates in the Hague Apostille Convention. Countries outside the Convention may require a different legalization process.

How much does apostille assistance cost?

Our professional service fees start at $335 for standard assistance, $395 for expedited coordination, and $495 for priority or complex matters. Government, authentication, county, state, courier, shipping, and other third-party fees are separate. Final pricing is confirmed after document review and determination of the required processing path.

How long does apostille processing take?

Timing depends on the document type, the issuing authority, the processing path, and current government processing times, which we do not control. We will give you a realistic expectation once we review your document.

Yes. Evening appointments are available by request. Premium service pricing applies outside standard operating hours, starting at $225.

Do you offer weekend appointments?
